Common Stuck Moments in EFT: When Clients Exit from Emotion
presentation by Alan Graham
ICEEFT Certified Supervisor, ACEFT Board Vice-President
In EFT, our most powerful tool for creating change is heightening our clients into primary emotions. And, as we know, it’s human to exit from these emotions. It’s what we do to protect ourselves from this vulnerability. This community meeting is focused on recognizing and managing exits with compassion for the distress we’re asking our clients to enter. We hope you can join us for this didactic review and experiential practice for recognizing and managing exits.

More about the series, Common Stuck Moments in EFT...
Whether fresh off an Externship or more experienced in the model, The Atlanta Center for EFT (ACEFT) invites you to join us for a series of ACEFT sponsored Community Meetings aimed at helping you “unstick” common stuck points in couple therapy – those moments when we want to help move our couples into re-connection but distracting content or difficult emotion seem to be getting in the way. This series of presentations offers insights into making EFT work more seamlessly for you and your couples, improving your ability to stay out of content, utilize emotion in powerful ways, and guiding couples toward experiencing themselves and each other differently - all in the service of creating a secure and lasting attachment. Join us at our next Gathering!
